I was excited and felt priveleged to be asked to illustrate a very special children's book.  "When Mommy Had A Mastectomy" by Nancy Reuben Greenfield, herself a breast cancer survivor, was released this spring.  As children of cancer patients read this heartwarming book it is hoped that a dialogue about cancer between mothers and their children will be encouraged.  The book is from Bartleby Press in Silver Spring, MD and a portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization and the Susan B. Komen Foundation.  Look for it on Amazon.com.

A special honor was having my design, "Gateway to Discovery" selected as the 2004 Florida Commemorative Quarter.  A launching ceremony was presided over by Governor Jeb Bush and the Director of the United States Mint, Henrietta Holsman Fore at the Kennedy Space Flight Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

So, check your pockets.  You may already have a sample of my work!
